Mission
The heart, sole and core of this organization is a love for the merits of individualized education and personal fulfillment through acts of creativity and self-expression. Storytelling has long been exalted in the history books as our primary method of passing down our knowledge, our philosophies, our beliefs and mythology since the dawn of time. Somewhere between our 5th birthday and MtV, a lot of us have lost that ability to relate to many aspects of our own world, and even ourselves. The loss of creativity, imagination and self-expression is a heavy price. New methods of education must be sought if we are to be able to tap into our creative power.
The vision was to create well-rounded, creative, life-long learners that can extract knowledge from differing disciplines and diverse experiences to devise lasting works of art, music and literature. In the pursuit in this endeavor, Youth for Creative Adventure StoryTelling, Inc. was dedicated to providing an arena in which youth can test, apply and reinforce the skills and knowledge they have acquired by conducting interactive role-playing seminars and related after-school activities as educational tools - utilizing contemporary alternative approaches to traditional classroom teaching methods
